TSUNAMIS! Recently,
world events remind me of how fragile life is.
In a relatively short amount of time, over one hundred fifty thousand
human beings, living life just like us, are gone. A report from a CBN news anchorperson interviewed
a man in
THE POWER OF PRAYER! I recently heard a story told from a soldier assigned to a special-forces group who returned home. “Our commanding officer made a point for our unit to pray before we set out for a mission. Every mission we went on was dangerous. Our commander didn’t care if you were Muslim, Buddhist, Baptist, Catholic, Christian, Jewish or whatever religion. He told us to pray to God as we saw Him and all of us prayed as one. We went out on 18 missions and before every mission, we prayed. Not one soldier was even slightly injured during these unbelievable events. One day our commander received a call of urgency and he gave the order for us to depart on yet another mission. We did not pray together as one before we departed. At the return from the mission 4 men were dead. Our commander took full responsibility for his men’s deaths because he didn’t pray with them before they left.”
Some of us do not believe in the power of prayer. The men in the special-forces unit above have been convinced of its pure power.
If you want to read something different about church, prayer or other interesting stories, please visit the page on my web site called “My Church.” Whether Jewish or Christian, Muslim or Atheist, I’m sure my experience, before God, will bless and encourage you. Why He wants me to write about them, I’ll understand after I die I’m sure. With my understanding of the Bible and God’s commission on me, I’ve dedicated the “My Church” pages to my customers, family and friends. Visit pages on how to pray, different types of prayer, personal experiences, miracles and other interesting stories and facts. I hope this section will encourage you during an uncertain time in our history.
May God give us understanding in our minds, open our eyes to truth and put peace in our hearts.
Have a safe & enjoyable summer and remember to HAVE FUN IN AND AROUND YOUR
