EXPERIENCE & STAFF

The Pool Spa Doctor Business is family owned and operated. Larry and his wife Erika, together with his Dad and Mom (in their 90's) and sons David, Anthony, and Lawrence along with other key staff, contribute to the success of Pool Spa Doctor. Each son, at an early age, enjoyed tagging along with Larry. Larry started the boys with basic water testing of pools and spas. Today, they all work together to supply the best service possible. Larry along with his sons, are licensed.

Larry Penna, President and Owner, has over 40 years experience in complete pool and spa installation, renovation, design and servicing of residential and commercial accounts including many indoor accounts. He oversees all aspects of the business and specializes in major renovations. His goal is to supply the area with expert service and repair pools and spas in a timely manner. In a typical summer week, they will service over 200 pools or spas. Larry works with Pop on some jobs. He told Pop he could retire at 92!

David, Larry's second son and Vice-President of the business, is involved in all decisions of operations and started working on pools and spas since 1990. His specialty is troubleshooting and repair of any computer operated system including spas and automated pool systems. He is experienced in all types of pool and spa repairs.

Anthony, Larry's third son, is involved in all decisions of operations. He also manages service, maintenance and renovation schedules, customer service, ordering, and employee management since 1993.

Lawrence, Larry's sixth son, is pursuing spa technical repairs along with carrying out all summerizing, winterizing, renovations, weekly service and other areas for pools and spas since 1999.

Darwin's years of experience allows him to specialize in concrete and vinyl renovations. Steve, Justin, Eric, Teresa, Ali, Jessica, Phillip and Mom & Dad are the Pool Spa Doctor's our support staff.

Dot, Joy, Erika, Melanie, Mom, along with Anthony are responsible for day-to-day office and scheduling operations along with phones and billing. Dot is in charge of all aspects of banking, detailed accounting and keeps the currency flowing. Our store staff and updated computer system provides accurate water testing records for our customer.
